 Models: 5016N – Adjustable for spring sizes 1-6. Meets 5lbs., maximum opening force for interior doors, and 8.5lbs., maximum opening force for exterior doors. Certification: The 5016N Series closers are U.L. and C.U.L. listed for use on 3 hour or lesser doors. They are certified to the requirements of ANSI A156.4, Grade 1, and meet the standards for UL10C and UBC7.2 (1997) for positive pressure. The 5016N Series also meets the standard of ANSI A117.1 and ADA for barrier free accessibility. Features: • Non-handed for regular, top jamb and parallel arm applications. • Adjustable backcheck is standard. Provides cushioning for uncontrolled door openings. • Backcheck positioning valve is standard. Maintains effective backcheck range on parallel arm applications. The valve is accessible while the closer is installed. • Available with optional delayed action adjusted with separate independent valve.
